I finally found them again, the cookies my friend introduced to me last year.
Sometime last year, a friend of mine brought some cookies over from Cebu during his trip to Manila. I happily received one packaging of these delicious goodies, which I almost selfishly wanted to keep to myself because they were just so good. Originally, I thought these were only available in Cebu, but having asked my friend again, he mentioned that he had seen them in a local shop called The Blue Kitchen.
I had previously tried to find these delicious cookies at their Robinsons Magnolia branch, but sadly found out that they were out of stock. That was until a very delayed but recent visit back to Robinsons Magnolia, where I was able to buy two of these dark chocolate packs for around 550php each!
A little on the expensive side, for cookies, but seeing as they’re dark belgian cookies and that they taste so good, these are the kinds of things that can be used as once-in-a-while treats. Definitely not buying them anytime soon, but it was good to have met them and their delicious flavor again.
