Rating: 3.5/5
Lady Madeline Matthews is a well-bred lady whose family expects her to marry a much older society Lord who thinks of her as an ornament to be paraded on his arm. She could just marry him, or she can have the freedom she’s always wanted and ‘ruin’ herself enough so she won’t have to marry her fiancée. She does just this and decides that if she’ll give her virginity to someone, why not give herself to one of London’s most well-known lovers, Logan Scott.
Logan Scott runs his own theatre company, a man who is more serious about his theatre and money other than anything else. He’s serious, strict, and is not serious about love. It’s at his theatre that he meets Madeline who offers herself up to him, without of course revealing her ton background. She gets hired to help out at the theatre company, and it is here that Logan begins to discover his budding feelings for Madeline.
Later on, Logan has to decide if he’s willing to give up his guarded past and mysterious present in order to protect and hold close Madeline.
