There is something oddly comforting about having a day where you get to clean your car and water the garden.
With only 2 days left till Christmas, I was looking to go out and maybe try and fill up my Coffee Bean planner card, which only needs 3 more stickers and incidentally should only have 1 left were it not for the fact that I left my card the one time I was there with my friends. Sadly, traffic conditions in the Metro are horrendous today, according to Waze, so I was very reluctant to leave my house today.
A little bored with things at the house, I decided to just go out into the garden and clean. One of my favorite routines before was to spend my Sundays just watering the plants and cleaning my car of leaves and twigs (no thanks to our trees), which was what I really enjoyed going back to today. An interesting companion to the routine was my sharpei, deathly afraid of water, who was watching me as I carried around a pail of water, and eyeing me in case I decided to throw the water at her.
I wish I had more days like this….
