Earlier today, I went out to Greenhills for some errands. I usually stop by Fully Booked when I’m in the area and have time..it’s a habit. Today, as there was something I was meaning to look for at Fully Booked, I immediately headed over here as soon as I parked. Something new caught my eye and I stopped in my tracks the moment I stepped into Fully Booked (coming in from the Cinemas 6,7,8) entryway.
Guess what was already open..
I had spotted this place for quite some time but kept waiting for when it would be ready to open, and now it finally is! I talked to the guy at the counter and apparently, they opened last Saturday evening (April 19) and were still on sort of a dry-run. Of course, they were already serving food and drinks and seats were also available, but as I was not so hungry, I took a quick look at the menu but didn’t order anything.
I checked out their facebook page but they don’t have online copies of the menu though the guy at the counter said there were, oh well. Maybe they’ll have copies in the future. Their food includes cake slices and lasagna, I think I saw some sandwiches and burgers. Drinks like sodas, lemonade.

Drink good coffee, read good books.
They’re open the same time as Fully Booked, so as long as there are books to buy, there’s coffee to accompany that new book you’ve bought or that old book you’ve brought along to read.
According to the guy, inside seating capacity is at about 30, while outside capacity (smoking area) will be at about 20. The smoking area has yet to be finished but I was able to take a quick look at that area, and it was pretty spacious though there isn’t much of a view. That area is the balcony above the Missouri Street entrance to Promenade.

Let books be the dining table, and you shall be full of delight.
Next time I’m in the area, I told myself I’d like to have a go at this place. Usually Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and Happy Lemon are full, so it would be good to try a new place soon. I just hope that the peace and quiet of this location will stay that way even when there are more customers. And it should maintain a certain level of noise, because it is a bookstore, it’s usually not that noisy in a bookstore unless there’s an event or something. 🙂
Can’t wait to try out their food while reading a good book, or maybe while doing some work..
