Hello Day 2!

福 (fú): fortune, good blessing, happiness.

Grateful for the daily blessing of life and good health, in the possibilities that every day brings, and the breadth of experience every day begets. Being the Chinese that I am, the word 福 has always looked attractive, in image and in meaning. Whatever the race, religion, social class, I think fortune, good blessing, and happiness is something that everyone wants and everyone searches for. But alongside that happiness, fortune, and blessing, is also that aspect of gratitude and humility – for what we have.
